Project Description
Refinishing | Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia, PA
This gentleman is located in the top floor of the Murano high rise down town. With that being said, I found extra time in my schedule to meet with this gentleman before and after each day progress we need to move some furniture into some carpeted areas of his unit. Once we were able to locate everything off of the Hardwood Floors were able to get the work quickly.
This gentleman had pre-finished floors with a micro beveled edge that we were able to eliminate this micro beveled edge and give him a solid one piece bamboo floor. When I say one piece bamboo floor, I mean I was able to eliminate any of the factory edges, so it almost became a hockey rink of bamboo. At the same time we did have some obstacles that we did have to avoid while sanding the edges of the rooms.
Well I’m happy to say that the customer was extremely happy at the end of the job not only at the length of time that it took, and we beat his deadline. We were also able to super succeed his expectations on the color and sheen that he was hoping to get. He was thrilled at what we were able to obtain. Of course we did go over color samples before we started the job and we involve every single customer bars in this process so this way expectations are met at the end of every single job that Hudson the Hardwood takes on. When we went back to move the furniture the next day, we were more than thrilled to find out that he did tell a few people in the building already, and was planning to tell everyone else in the monthly meetings that he partakes in there. Another Homer for Hudson Hardwood.
