The bevels were oversized, lines drifted out of square, and visible gaps made the entire pattern look uneven. 3800 ft.², including four flights of steps treads only.
Our team performed a full hardwood floor refinishing to correct the installation. We completely sanded the herringbone, removed all factory bevels, tightened the pattern, and filled every gap to restore proper alignment. The result is a crisp, square, clean herringbone layout that finally looks professionally installed.
We finished the white oak floors natural with an extra-matte polyurethane, giving the home a modern, durable, low-sheen look.
The property also had red oak stair treads that didn’t match the new floor. We refinished the stairs and created a custom stain blend to tie the treads seamlessly into the white oak herringbone.
