For this residential hardwood floor refinishing project in Roxborough, Philadelphia, we restored the hardwood floors on both the first and second floors, as well as a staircase (treads only). The risers remained painted white, and we also refinished the handrail and select stair posts to enhance the overall aesthetic.
To ensure a smooth process, we assisted the homeowner in moving furniture and took special care to protect his home office setup, securing wiring along the walls to prevent disruptions.
After thorough preparation, we provided on-site stain samples, allowing the homeowner to choose Golden Pecan, a warm, natural tone that beautifully complemented the space. We applied three coats of polyurethane for lasting protection and a flawless finish. Additionally, we seamlessly blended new boards with existing hardwood to repair pet stains, ensuring a cohesive, high-quality restoration.
